Week 12
 10'2" Redwood/Spruce/Balsa Hot Curl
This board was made in the late 1940's from life raft balsa pieces(note the short glue-ups on the balsa). Originally a "plank" design it was cut down to a "hot curl". Total, immaculate restoration by master wood worker/shaper Mike Casey to original design, with original "early low profile" fin. Finished in shellac and spar varnish to original condition.
