Each week we will be featuring an auction item in our "Peek
of the Week". This will give everyone a tasty morsel of what
to expect from our full fare of auction items. As we indicated,
it is our intention to have all the auction items have "a
taste of Hawaii". This means the surfboards will be island
labels from the different manufacturers. It could be a board ridden
by a famous surfer. It could be a contest winning board, or one
from a well known Hawaiian shaper. It may be a wood board made
on the shores of Waikiki or unearthed on the North Shore. It may
be photos of old Hawaii or attire worn by an old Hawaiian. Check
back each week, as we sample what is to come.
